We use this information to handle your request and reply. It is sent to the Foundation team. A copy may be stored in Gravity Forms, the tool that hosts the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Online donations.<\/strong> Donations are processed by Zeffy, an independent provider. Information you enter on the donation form (identity, contact details, amount, payment) is collected by Zeffy to process the gift and issue a tax receipt. See <a href=\"https:\/\/support.zeffy.com\/privacy-policy-5tndw\">Zeffy\u2019s privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Usage data.<\/strong> We may collect your IP address, browser type and version, pages viewed, date and time of the visit, time spent on pages and other technical diagnostic data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cookies, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags) to run the site, remember your language preference and understand how the Service is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We use Google Tag Manager to manage these tools, and Google Analytics to measure website traffic. Google may collect technical data, including your IP address, and process it outside Quebec. Google may also use this data in its own services, under its policy. We also use providers to host the site, send form emails, measure audience (Google) and process donations (Zeffy). These third parties access your information only to perform those tasks and must not use it for other purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some providers may process information outside Quebec, including in the United States. In that case, your information may be subject to the laws of that other place. We take reasonable steps so that processing remains consistent with this policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that it is needed to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li>meet a legal obligation<\/li>\n\n\n<li>protect the rights or property of the Foundation<\/li>\n\n\n<li>prevent or investigate wrongdoing<\/li>\n\n\n<li>protect the safety of people<\/li>\n\n\n<li>protect against civil liability<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retention<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Form messages are kept while we handle the request, then as needed for administration. Donation records may be kept longer for tax receipts and accounting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Security<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The security of your information matters to us. No method of transmission or electronic storage is fully secure. We use commercially reasonable safeguards, without being able to guarantee absolute protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subject to exceptions in the law, you may request access to your personal information, correction, withdrawal of consent or, where the law allows, deletion. If you follow a third-party link, you leave our site. We have no control over the content or privacy practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them.
